AT ALP, Research and Development is fundamental to our business operations as each client has a different set of engineering specifications to achieve. Hence ALP has global benchmarked research and material development processes in place.

The process starts with a large design centre at the Corporate office in Gurgaon, which is equipped with senior designers who use top of the line Catia and UG design softwares along with FEA analysis for designing and simulating the design and material compounds for a given application as per the Design Validation plan specifications.

Then the development of new material compound happens at the R&D centre which is equipped with Lab Mill, Lab intermix, Ozone testing, 10x Projector, Hardness Tester, 500x Microscope (Thickness Measurement, Abrasion Tester, Compression Set apparatus, Compound Physical properties, Vibration Tester, Autograph (CLD tester), Autograph Tensile, Mooney Viscometer, Rheometer, Viscometer, Flash point apparatus, Moisture analyzer, Ph Meter, Muffle Furnace, Electronic Densimeter, Constant Temperature and Humidity Chamber and Low Temperature Chamber and other crucial testing machines. CNC Tooling center compliments the R&D centre with inhouse preparation of extrusion dyes and prototypes in a very short turnaround time, with their CNC milling, wire cutting and other machines.
